New Mortgage Requirements In NC Passed RALEIGH - On Monday, Governor Mike Easley signed into law legislation that addresses the large number of mortgage foreclosures in the state. The new bills will require additional notice before houses can be foreclosed upon, ends rate spread premiums, and requires all mortgage lenders to register with the state.
